Track 1 of Chet Baker's 1959, "In Milan" album. Recorded during his stay in Italy, where he stayed until 1960. There, he recorded two albums. "In Milan" and "With 50 Italian Strings". The latter is not praised as highly as the former, but I find them both pleasing. I should also mention that Chet Baker himself played the Trumpet, and while there is a debate on who was better- him or Miles Davis, I think the two covered different flavors of jazz, and thus can't really be compared. Also, unlike Davis, Chet could sing. I'd recommend checking out the 1956 version of "Chet Sings".

Might do an Autumn Leaves w/ Paul Desmond one, but the issue arises with the file size of that hitting double digits. Shame, really, it's a fantastic peace and even features Bob James on the keyboard. Maybe I'll do a football theme instead, who knows?
