These are actually just labeled as "Mystery Man" in the game files, so it can't be said for sure that these are even Gaster. It can't even be said that there was ever even a "Gaster" either. Maybe. Honestly, there being a Royal Scientist before Alphys sounds wrong. Strange even. Frankly, Alphys has been the Royal Scientist for as long as I can remember, so I couldn't really imagine there being one before her. My head feels cloudy, what were we talking about again?
